Feel less alone, grow stronger, and find quiet hope — one small step at a time.”

Stories

Fair warning. My life is not linear and my life has not been easy so I might just make this website as I lived grom rabbit trail to rabbit trail. My thoughts are definitely not linear. My first husband used to say "wow that sure came out of left field " cause it had not related at all to the last thing verbalized but in my brain, it had gone from one thing to another and yet another without speaking it so it usually made sense to me. but occasionally I tried to backtrack and figure out where it had come from and I could not even figure it out.

🌿 ERMa

ERMa is a domain name I secured to protect the acrostic for Empowered Resource Management. One day, when I have enough resources, I want to build a nonprofit for domestic‑violence survivors — a place where people can escape, live safely, and train for a new life. Auto repair, cooking, childcare, and hands‑on skills taught by people who’ve lived it. A place where starting over isn’t just possible, it’s supported. That’s the dream.

Empowered Resource Management (ERMa)

(ERMa) is a nonprofit vision to build an educational and residential community where people in crisis can rebuild their lives.
> We focus on those most at risk of homelessness, including single mothers, domestic violence survivors, foster care graduates, veterans, people with disabilities, and seniors.
> ERMa will offer safe, temporary housing, classes and workshops, and practical life-skills training to help participants move toward stability and self-sufficiency.
> Homelessness disproportionately affects single mothers, research shows. ERMa is my way of helping families find safety, stability, and hope.
